And the Lesson Learned Today…

…is never watch something like Paranormal Activity on pay-per-view in a strange, dark hotel room at bedtime with your husband who 1) isn’t scared by stuff like that and B) thinks it’s HILARIOUS that you are.
Oh, and Sleep Number beds are a lot of fun to play with, but not necessarily sleep on.

I can’t watch shit like that before bed. I really f’s with my brain.
Too bad for the bed. I’ve been thinking about looking into one when we need to replace the one we got. I will think twice.

If I watch stuff like that before bed I have an even harder time going to sleep then usual. But nonetheless I make the stupid choice to do so anyways.
Happy Monday!

I can’t watch that stuff at home in the full daylight! *shiver*
As for the sleep number bed, we have one and LOVE it! It did take a couple weeks to get used to and find the right number. They have a 30 day money back guarantee too.

I want to try out a sleep number bed. Will it puff up like a marshmallow if you put the number high enough?

Yikes. Hotels are good places for a lot of things… but a scary movie is definitely not one of them.

I avoid the scary movies at all costs. I’m a wimp that way.
I’m disappointed about the sleep number thing. I’ve always wanted to try one. Those tempurpedic are over rated, too. Wait, what kind of fancy hotel were you staying at that had a sleep number bed???

I don’t have a problem with that stuff because I think it’s a lot of over active imagination and television sensationalism but I am interested in the sleep number. We’ve tried so many mattresses and were about to try the sleep number because I like a soft mattress and HBL likes a firm bed. What didn’t you like about it? I’d love to hear your opinion.

The trailer alone was enough for me. *shudders*

Oh God, I’ve done that! Watched a scary movie then had to lie there in the hotel bed staring at the ceiling all night. All those new and foreign night sounds. Eeeee.

Well I hope you can nap today. When the scary things are at bay.

Oh dear, well I hope you learned your lesson Hon.
I watched Kiss the Girls on TV the other night while I was home alone – ran out of the room several times…
And. Hotel room? I thought you were hosting a party at your house this last weekend??

Don’t feel bad, Jan, I get scared from watching movies too. When we watched “The Ring” several years ago, Jeff fell asleep in his chair and I was terrified of getting up to turn the TV off! I was afraid that creepy thing was going to come out of the TV and get me!
That movie was creepy. And I usually laugh in the face of horror.

No way could I watch something like that right before going to sleep!
But play with a sleep number bed? That I could do…I’ve always wondered how they were to sleep on, I’m guessing not so great?

I’ve always wondered how sleep number beds are. Now I know.
And I haven’t watched a good scary movie in a long time!
